If you're obsessed with Korean food and culture but a trip to Seoul isn't on the cards anytime soon, EziStreat's huge Seoul Sunday Market best be etched into your calendar, stat.

For one day only, 12-4pm on Sunday, February 25, North Melbourne's hawker-style food hall and beer garden EziStreat will be taken over by artisanal craft and clothing stalls and cultural performances. The venue's usual street food vendors will also be out that day, dishing up mostly pan-Asian eats.

The iced dessert crew from Sulbing will be your main port of call for Korean sweets, serving up its famed bingsu shaved ice creations alongside waffles, ice cream and shortcakes. Hoju Soju will also be on site to run some Australian-made soju tastings while the bar will be pouring its usual beer, wine and cocktails throughout the afternoon.

But the shopping side of things is where Seoul Sunday Market really shines. My Korean School and EziStreat have together curated an impressive lineup of local and international artisans who'll be selling their wares to Koreanophiles (or really just about anyone who loves handcrafted goods).

Gori Kitchenware will provide a selection of ceramics and tableware from Korea. Casa da Alegria will be selling handmade woven artworks. Haru Melbourne will showcase some of its Korean women's clothes. And Mrs Lee's HANJI will be selling traditional Korean handmade paper art for the stationary obsessed.

Mrs Lee's Traditional Korean Drumming Group is even set to make an appearance with some music and dancing — also giving punters the opportunity to have a go at it themselves.
