If you're the sort of person who likes to eat meat until you start sweating protein and can (m)eat no more, then you're in for a treat. Meatstock is making its long-awaited return to Aotearoa after a three-year hiatus, with the two-day celebration taking place in Hamilton on the weekend of Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25, 2024.

The meat-lovers' paradise features everything from live fire barbecue experts to pit master appearances by meat celebrities the Black Iron Smokers.

Meatstock also features live tunes from Kiwi favourites like The Black Seeds, Shihad and Katchafire, and New Zealand's own country star Kaylee Bell taking over the stage on Sunday.

When you feel the effects of excess eating coming on, take a break with a run around the Medieval Combat Village. The village is a first for the festival in 2024, and will see participants turn back the clock to Medieval times with games of archery tag and axe throwing, as well as epic battle scene reenactments.

Finally, if you're really wanting to hone in on your eating skills, ready your belly for one of the competitive eating events, then show off your success at the 'Dad bod' competition.
