Skateboard decks and art line the walls of Dr. Morse. Stepping through the ship-like door and into the studio feels a bit like falling down the rabbit hole. Simon Morse is highly acclaimed and humble, an interesting man with a very obvious passion for his job. Having been open for five years Dr. Morse is now a landmark in the Wellington tattoo scene.

There are six members on the team, one is Angela, a massage therapist. Angela places a large part in the whole atmosphere, she has her own intimate corner where her fingers make the magic. She also is highly acclaimed but humble. Morse started as a comic artist in the USA and Japan, and after starting his own clothing brand, he became what he refers to as a 'glorified hairdresser'.

Dr. Morse is a deep underworld of purples and dark art. The studio though is relaxed and welcoming, acting as an art gallery, a place for people to come and pick up their newest piece. A custom illustrative gallery, Simon and accompanying artists surround themselves with their influences. For that reason, paired with their immense experience this is a studio of trust and a deep respect for tattoo.
