New Zealand's first ever Bacardi pop–up has launched in Auckland's Viaduct, giving rum fans a new option for after-work drinks during the summer season.

Casa Bacadi can be found smack-bang in the middle of the Viaduct, beneath Parasol and Swing and is open every Thursday to Sunday from 3pm–late. The space is decked out with items belonging at a tropical island bar — palm trees, beach umbrellas and enormous comfy booths that can fit up to 15 of your drinking buddies. You'll probably forget you're in the middle of Auckland after a cocktail or three.

Casa Bacardi is dedicated to "foursies'' a concept that pushes knock-off time forward by one hour, reserved specifically for a rum cocktail. For the occasion Bacardi have created The Foursie cocktail, a refreshing spritzy tipple made with mānuka honey, lemon juice, sparkling blood orange and a decent dose of Bacardi rum.

There's a few different Bacardi cocktails on the menu, such as a Bacardi espresso made with cold brew, a Bacardi spritz topped with prosecco, and four different flavours of Bacardi mojitos: classic mint, coconut, peach and lime. And to make sure rum-lovers don't overdo it, Casa Bacardi will also be serving up Caribbean-inspired bar snacks, including beef empanadas and jerk-spiced fried chicken.
